Hypnotherapy Terms and Conditions - Chris Crane Hypnotherapy

Terms and Conditions

1. This agreement is made between Christopher Crane of 24 Main Street, Stewarton KA3 5AE, hereinafter referred to as "The Therapist", and with you "The Client", to work on the issues and symptoms presented by you. This agreement does not guarantee any success or cure.

2. The Client hereby agrees to cooperate fully with the Therapist at all stages of their therapy. This includes answering questions fully and honestly, being compliant with all reasonable requests made by the Therapist (whether in hypnosis or not), listening to recordings as instructed and turning up for appointment sessions punctually.

3. The full cost of the treatment or session is payable by cash, cheque or other means agreed by the Therapist before any treatment starts. The amount due will be advised to you in advance at your "Introductory Talk". Cheques are to be made payable to the Therapist named above and must be accompanied by a valid cheque guarantee card.

Where fees have been discounted for those that are retired, out of work, incapcitated or students, the fully discounted fee is charged in advance when booking. The discounted sessions will only be avaialble on certain days and times at the above location only. The following therapies will not be discounted, Hypno Band Weight Loss System, Hypno Analytical Therapy and Past Life Regressions however special offers may be available from time time and will be posted on this site.

4. The Therapist maintains a flexible appointment system for the benefit of all his clients. Contact between sessions will be limited to telephone, email or letter. The client must not turn up unannounced at the practice site. Failure to comply will result in the immediate cessation of treatment.

5. You are required to provide at least 2 working days notice if you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so will result in the full fee for your session being charged. We may at our discretion waive this fee if you are unable to attend a session for any reason that in our opinion was unavoidable. Deposits may be requested against attendance at future appointments.

6. This practice operates a Zero tolerance on antisocial behaviour and if evidenced will result in the immediate cessation of treatment and forfeiture of any fees paid in advance for any treatments or therapies.

7. HYPNO ANALYTICAL THERAPY
The Client, if having Hypno Analytical Therapy (HAT), can opt to purchase a complete course of therapy in advance (maximum 12 sessions). The full advertised price is payable at the beginning of session 1. Alternatively, the Client can opt to pay for "HAT" on a session by session basis at the full advertised rate for an individual session. Session by session payment for this therapy is also permitted on the basis that the Client pays in advance the full session fee for each session.

8. HYPNO BAND
Hypno Band is a 4 session treatment plan offered to the Client at the price advertised. Additional costs may be incurred if other types of Hypnotherapy sessions are required before or after the Hyono Band treatment has started (i.e. for dealing with emotional and psychological issues). This will be discussed with you at the appropriate time.

The Therapist does not provide the Client with any nutritional or dietry advice, therefore if this is needed, the Client may wish to seek advice from a Dietician or Nutritionist at their own expense.

The cost of the 4 session plan is non refundable, and clients must be aware, that failure to complete the 4 sessions will render the agreement void and will reduce the overall effectiveness of the plan.

Where asked, clients may be required to carry out tasks before, in-between and after sessions as part of the treatment plan. Not undertaking them could reduce the effectiveness of treatment. This includes being fully aware of the information provided to you on the website about the Hypno-Band procedures before the first session begins.

9. PRIVACY
Confidentiality will be maintained in all but the most exceptional circumstances. These can only include: legal action (criminal or civil court cases where a court order is made demanding disclosure - includes coroners courts) and where there is good cause to believe that not to disclose would cause danger or serious harm to others. Most standards of confidentiality applied in professional contexts are based on the Common Law concept of confidentiality where the duty to keep confidence is measured against the concept of "greater good".

The sharing of anonymous case histories with supervisors and peer-support groups is not a breach of professional confidentiality. The sharing of open case histories with supervisors and any referring NHS medical practitioner is also not a breach.

Notes and occasionally recordings of the sessions will be kept and are available to the client with reasonable notice for a small charge.

Clients have access to the complaints and discipline procedures of the appropriate professional body at any time.

10. COPYRIGHT
All materials such as workbooks, leaflets, CD's and MP3 tracks are subject to Copyright of the owner, Christopher Crane. Copying and distributing of these materials or use of our intelectual property without the express written permission of the owner is strictly prohibted.

The client is permitted to transfer or rip a copy of any therapy CD's given to them by the Therapist to a personal MP3 player or similar media device, provided that is for their own personal use. Making copies for others is an infringement of our copyright and is extremely dangerous to the person you give a copy to.
